Service Agreement

Fees and Returns

All service orders are subject to a minimum $65 service fee once it reaches a technician’s bench or leaves with an on-site technician regardless of the state of repair or outcome of the diagnosis. This fee will not be assessed if the part is under warranty.

All part purchases are final and cannot be returned.

Any payment outstanding for more than 30 days from the invoice date will incur an interest charge at a rate of 10% per month or partial month and any discounts given will be reversed. 

An additional $500 will be added if time is needed to take any invoice(s) for non-payment to court.

We charge an additional fee of $45 per returned check.

Emergency Service Calls that cause us to reschedule an appointment shall be charged $395 additionally per appointment block time (every 3 hours).

Any onsite service performed after 5 pm is considered an Emergency Service Call and will be charged $395 additionally every 3 hours.

Remote Support

By requesting and accepting a remote session from a PC Evolution representative to remotely assist you with a technical-related issue, you accept responsibility for any changes made to the desktop content or system settings. PC Evolution does not assume and is not responsible for any liability for the linking and viewing of any desktop content, the operation of the remote support software, or system performance.

PC Evolution recommends for your security and privacy that you exit any applications you have open that is displaying content such as personal or confidential information before initiating a remote support session with a PC Evolution representative. PC Evolution further recommends that you remain seated at your desktop throughout the entire remote session.

Your data is important to us. It is up to you to ensure that you backup your data on a regular basis. PC Evolution will not be held responsible for any data loss if any occurred during or after a remote session. If you require help in setting up a backup procedure for your data please do not hesitate to contact us for further assistance.

PC Evolution continuously undertakes to take the utmost care when in use of your computer. However, PC Evolution cannot guarantee that our service will resolve your problem or that attempting to rectify your technical issue will not cause additional problems requiring an on-site call.


The customer is responsible for data backup before repair.

PC Evolution is NOT responsible for data loss for any reason including:

– In the event of a computer failure while in service

– In the event the hard drive is formatted to repair the operating system software.

PC Evolution reserves the right to erase the computer’s hard drive to ensure proper repair of the unit by eliminating software as a variable whenever PC Evolution deems it necessary.


Software errors or corruption that cause poor performance or loss of functionality of the computer is NOT covered by ANY manufacturer’s warranty.

PC Evolution does not support any applications or software except for Microsoft Windows or Mac Operating Systems.

The customer is responsible for determining application compatibility with any operating system they’ve enlisted PC Evolution to install or upgrade to.


The customer is responsible for updating definitions to antivirus software and applying security patches to the operating system after the date of repair on the unit. PC Evolution is NOT responsible for viral infections of the unit or any security compromises to the unit, including compromises due to weak passwords after the date of repair.


PC Evolution is not responsible for damages or costs that are the result of accidents, misuse, or abuse of your computer. Modifications or repairs made to your system by anyone other than PC Evolution will void your warranty. We are not responsible for any losses or complications that arise as a result of a computer failure or a delay in production or repair of your system.


PC Evolution is NOT responsible for equipment left in service for over three months from the time of the unit’s entry into service, regardless of the state of repair.

PC Evolution is NOT responsible for notifying you, the customer, in the event your equipment is being disposed of when said equipment has been here for over 3 months.

All equipment must be picked up within 30 days of completion or a $45 per month fee will be added to the cost of Service Repair Order.
